With nuclear radiation levels in our atmosphere rising rapidly over the past few years, it is important to protect our thyroid gland against nuclear poisoning.  The thyroid gland is the master gland for controlling body hormones, which regulate various body functions.

Iodine in our diet is needed to maintain a healthy thyroid gland, but most people lack adequate iodine.  Thus, radioactive iodine from nuclear radiation will be absorbed by the thyroid gland in place of natural iodine and cause it to malfunction,

To prevent absorption of radioactive iodine, one needs to maintain a proper level of natural iodine in one’s diet.  This is easily done by taking daily a small amount of potassium iodide. The recommended dosage for an adult is two drops per day.  Potassium iodine is available in any drug store for very little cost.
